The Ski Edit - all the kit you need to stay stylish on the slopes

If you're heading off to the slopes this half term, we've put together some of our favourite ski brands to keep you cosy (and chic!) both on piste, and off - including our cosy long-sleeve tees which are perfect as a base layer, but also flattering enough to wear by themselves, apres ski.

Helmet - Kask

Kask helmets not only look super stylish, but more importantly, their performance is second to none. I love the shadow style with built-in visor; there's a removable merino wool lining and innovative ventilation system to feel your head cool and comfortable, too.

£305, Kask shadow helmet - available at Net a Porter

Ski trousers - Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty's skiwear is stylish and high-tec - with sweat-wicking fabrics, seamless designs and thermal properties, they'll keep you comfortable and warm on the slopes. The Moritz ski trouser has a vintage feel with wide stripe detail, the flattering slim leg in waterproof and windproof fabric is fleece lined for warm and the 4-way stretch will ensure ultimate fit.

Long-sleeve tees - YUNION T

Our long-sleeve t-shirts make the perfect base layer for skiing.

Their 92% cotton/8% Lycra blend ensures they are breathable, yet the shot of lycra means they will move responsively to the body when skiing. The premium gauge fabric ensures warmth, without bulk - ideal for alpine weather.

Moon boots - My Fashion Tribu

If you're looking for cosy, snowproof boots, independent women's footwear boutique, My Fashion Tribu has a range of snow boots from brands including Moon Boots, Sorel and Serafini. I love Serafini's suede, shearling lined snow boots - they look great on the terrace aprés ski, but also back in London with maxi skirts and jeans, throughout winter.

 Ski jackets - Perfect Moment

Ski jackets can be a big investment, and probably the most crucial bit of clothing you'll need before you hit the slopes. I love Perfect Moment, launched in Chamonix in 1984, the 20 year old brand has a classic, retro feel that doesn't date - yet super technical design and fabrics, that ensure cutting edge fit and performance. The Queenie style has a merino hem and cuff to lock in warmth, with naturally insulating down filling and a technical, breathable shell.
