We always plump for skirts over dresses for the party season, not only does it mean we can wear them with our ultimate fit t-shirts (obsessed, us?!), but styled well – the party skirt can be dressed up with heels and a blazer for the main event and knitwear and trainers the day after. Just like our tees!
Here are a few we will be doning this Christmas:
Sequin pencil skirts
A look that’s been all over the style bloggers’ feeds this season is the sequin skirt – it’s filtered down onto the high-street just in time for Christmas – from pastel shades to over-size ‘Mermaid’ scales in ombre colours. We’re keeping it chic in all black, teamed with our classic black v-neck short sleeve tee. (skirt: £24.99, H&M). Don’t worry, we’ll add some festive sparkle with statement earrings and these killer heels.
This holly-coloured, faux leather skirt from M&S is a beauty (£39)- seasonal, with a flattering a-line cut. Teamed with our white long-sleeve gathered cuff LTD Collection tee for the perfect casual, Christmas look.
Taking the same design principles from our t-shirts of ‘elevating the ordinary’ – we have created the ‘ultimate evening skirt’ – from the dipped hem to show off your heels, to the hidden pockets and beautifully finished tailoring. They are elegant and timeless in their simplicity – paired with one of our LTD t-shirts, they will become your go-to for the party season, year after year – get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more. £295 – up to 2 weeks as made to order – but currently hold 1 of each size 8,10,12 in stock.
We wrote about all things leopard print earlier this autumn and our bestselling leopard print scarves are nearly sold out! The trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere and these jewel-coloured pleated skirts have been everywhere on social media since launching at M&S (£35). Great for a festive update on animal print. Pair with our soft black peplum top and a statement necklace from The Collective Boutique this party season.
Finally – if skirts aren’t your thing – we’ve found these wide-leg, sequin trousers from Monsoon, we’ll be pairing them with a long sleeve white tee and sharp black crepe blazer for New Year’s Eve. Aren’t they fantastic?
